I've found <meta> tags to be a great feature for passing data from a decorated page to a decorator. However, if I'm only passing data/values - it'd be nice if the <meta> tag could be deleted from the final output. For example, adding a hidden="true" attribute that strips it.

Add ability to remove <meta> tags from final output
