In the FAQ, at http://www.opensymphony.com/quartz/faq.html,
the answer to the question
"How do I stop a Job that is currently executing?"
is :

"See"

Not very helpful. Browsing through forums etc. did not provide
a clear answer to that question. The job must be designed to
be "stoppable", but nothnig about quartz, how to do it, etc.
